I am one week out of surgery and the pain meds have run out. I wish I felt a little bit better, but I guess I could be feeling a little bit worse. Glass half full, right??? Last week is a blur and I am so thankful to friends who came to the house and dropped off meals and just visited. That was nice. It was nice that people took care of my family when I couldn't. Thanks to you all.
Well as Christmas sneaks up I am realizing like so many other years before I am behind in all things I should do and must do. So this week I will summon the energy to complete it all as if that were my plan all along. Friday Kale, our youngest son will have his final surgery for his medical issues. We have waited years for this moment to come and I hope that it is all I have hoped for. I hope that it redefines his life and all things are great for him. Please keep Kale in your prayers. It should be a short hospital stay with no complications.
Our homeschool Christmas lapbooks have been delayed since I am not feeling the best but as soon as we complete them I will be posting pictures of them and the happy faces that create them.
Make it a great week and enjoy your family and friends...Love, Kim~
